If the data is supplied in QuarkXPress, Illustrator or CorelDRAW, we also need the attached Picture.
The fonts don't need attached in case that text is converted into curve format.
All colors should be composed from CMYK components, eventually specified according to the PANTONE scale.
Data requirements for the large format printing
machines:
Documents in any magnification ratio (1:6, 1:10, 1:20...)
Raster data volume:
- Up to area approx. cca 5m2: 20MB/m2 (60dpi/1:1, 120dpi/1:2, 360dpi/1:6)
- Up to area approx. 30m2: 5MB/m2 (30dpi/1:1, 60dpi/1:2, 180dpi/1:6)
- For areas exceeding 30m2: 3MB/m2 (20dpi/1:1, 40dpi/1:2, 120dpi/1:6)
Data requirements for inkjet plotters:
Documents in any magnification ratio (1:1, 1:2, 1:10...)
Raster data volume:
- Up to format A0: approx. 100MB/m2 (100-150dpi/1:1, 200-300dpi/1:2)
- Formats exceeding A0: approx. 50MB/m2 (50-75 dpi/1:1, 100-150dpi/1:2)
Requirements for offset printing
(lithography) or data for screenprinting:
Offset Printing (lithography): 60-70l/cm (150-175lpi)
- Posters up to AO: reduced at ratio 1:4,3
- City lights, posters up to 180*120cm: reduced at ratio 1:5,8
- Billboards: reduced at ratio 1:10
- Billboards 6*3m and larger, megaboards: reduced at ratio 1:12
Raster transformation angles: C 15°, M 75°, Y 0°, K 45°
Form of point: elliptical
Data resolution for the preparation of lithographs: always 300 dpi in the appropriate reduction
